DATAssure Surface Temperature Probe

The probe kit enables users to monitor the temperature of equipment surfaces, via the Planer DATAssure system.

Each kit comprises a wireless transmitter (868 MHz or 2.4 GHz), and a PT100 Ribbon Surface Temperature sensor. The sensor can be installed on any equipment surface using VOC free tape (sold separately), The sensor is capable of monitoring temperatures between -20°c to 90°c. The sensor is then linked to the DATAssure base station in the usual fashion. Once wired, the probe will constantly monitor temperature of equipment surfaces and the DATAssure system will alert users if any alarm is triggered.

Important Notice - Saft Batteries 

We’ve recently encountered issues with some DATAssure Systems, and our investigation revealed that the root cause was the use of counterfeit batteries.

This is an increasing problem for battery manufacturers, as low-quality, cheap batteries are easily available online and hard to detect. Unfortunately, these counterfeit batteries don’t meet the same specifications as genuine ones, which can lead to communication errors and trigger alarms in DATAssure Systems. While genuine batteries might seem costly, their price is minimal compared to the value of the samples they protect.

Saft, our battery provider, recommends buying batteries only from Saft Certified Distributors. You can locate these distributors on their website by following these steps:
