Changing My Login Details & Passwords

All users have the ability to amend their user details and reset their login and password information at any time, all actions are recorded in the system audit log for later review.

Step 1 – Details are amended in the My Details section of user settings; SETTINGS=> USER SETTINGS=> My Details=> Edit

Forename, Surname & Initials are set when the user is created and cannot be amended or edited.

Step 2 – Enter a new username (if desired), base station password and web password.

Username: can be up to 25 alpha numeric characters in length and may contain upper & lower case letters.

Base Station Password: this allows user to login to the base station directly – privileges will be limited to the user access rights. The base station passcode is numeric only and can be up to 8 characters.

Web Password: this allows the users to login to the network interface (via a web browser) – privileges will be limited to the users access rights.  The web password can be up to 25 alpha numeric characters in length and may contain upper & lower letters.

Step 3 – Once new details are entered the user must input their old password for a final time before pressing submit. This authorises the changes.
