Repairs, Returns and Service on Equipment – Decontamination Certificate
Before you return equipment to us or before a service engineer arrives at your premises to work on an equipment the attached Decontamination Certificate should be printed twice, completed and signed twice by a competent person. Before we can work on the equipment:
- The first copy must be returned to Planer
- The second copy should be fixed to the equipment to be serviced or returned
It is our safety policy that unless the above actions are taken service engineers must refuse to perform maintenance or repairs. In the event the Certificate is not completed a charge will be made to cover any costs eg of a visit. Such charges are not included in any preventative maintenance contract. Goods received without a completed form will not be processed and unless carriage return is paid, may be destroyed within 6 months of receipt. Please note also that for returns you will also need to comply with the Returns procedure and obtain an authorisation number.
