Adrian Fuller

Adrian Fuller, MCIM

Managing Director

Adrian joined Planer in 2014 as Sales Director following a career of over 30 years working in a variety of technical, sales and marketing roles. Adrian has great experience in both equipment capital and consumable sales from working in the healthcare and life sciences industry at companies such as Zoll Medical and Terumo Europe.

In 2018 Adrian became Managing Director and since then has been successfully leading Planer through huge growth and expansion which has seen Planer’s success go from strength to strength.

Dave Barber

Operations Director

Dave has been at Planer since 1983 and is one of our longest-standing members of staff. From being at Planer for many years Dave has taken on a variety of different roles which has given him a great understanding of the complete operation of the company.

Dave’s wealth of experience in production planning, supplier management, import and exporting of goods, and stock management means that he can lead and maximise the efficiency of the manufacturing team.

Uzma Miraj

Uzma Miraj, FCCA, BSc (Hons)

Financial Director

Uzma has successfully led Finance, HR and IT functions in fast-growing SMEs over a range of industries including the Technology, Leisure and Manufacturing. She holds an exemplary reputation for developing opportunities, incorporating companywide development projects, optimising technology and building a culture of empowerment & engagement.

Uzma is responsible for the Company's financial management and human resource functions, as well as providing strategic support in the business planning and corporate development of the Company.

James Lee

James Lee, BEng, CEng, MPhil

Technical Director

James joined Planer in 2019 coming from 20 years of experience leading R&D teams in SMEs and start-ups. Previously James has worked across a range of sectors including implanted medical devices, analytical instruments, MEMS sensors and digital manufacturing.

James leads a talented and dedicated Engineering team, together with James they identify and develop new products as well as looking at ways to sustain and improve our product range.

Simon Delicata

Simon Delicata, BSc (Hons), MBCS, MCP

Senior IT Manager

Simon is another long-standing member of the Planer team after joining the company in 1999. Once Simon graduated from Brunel University, he joined Planer as an Assistant IT Administrator.

Simon has extensive knowledge of the IT systems and operations at Planer which enables him to implement the technological requirements that support changes to business processes and lead the IT team.

Les Dodsworth

Senior Service Manager

Les joined Planer in 2016 coming from 30 plus years in the service industry.

Previously Les came from an engineering background where he was Production Manager at Universal Marking System and managed a team of 8 for over 30 years.

Before this Les was the shop floor manager at Neat Breaks.

Phillip Crow

Head of Sales

Phil became Planer’s International Sales Manager in 2018 having over 15 years of experience providing support to domestic and international customers with various medical device manufacturers.

Having worked closely with global distribution networks as well as UK-based customers, Phil’s understanding of B2B and B2C business sectors has helped Planer achieve year-on-year growth with the highest level of professionalism. He became the Head of Sales in 2023 and continues to instil confidence and knowledge in Planer's long-standing network of international friends and partners.

Oz Urucu

Ozge Urucu, BSc, PgDip, CIM

Senior Marketing Manager

Oz joined the team in 2021 due to the growth of the company to develop and maintain Planer's long-term marketing strategies and increase brand awareness.

She brought over 15 years of experience in hands-on and strategic marketing management in financial services, health, and travel sectors, including national and international expansion projects for corporate organisations and start-ups. Oz has extensive know-how in business planning, end-to-end B2C/B2B marketing campaigns, integrated marketing programs, technological transformation projects, and brand management.

At Planer we are dedicated to using our years of expertise and experience in temperature control and the management of cells to design, develop and manufacture pioneering, high quality, innovative equipment to preserve, protect and nurture cellular biologicals.
