Immunological infertility is often caused by the presence of anti-sperm antibodies (ASA) that can occur in both genders. Immunoglobulins (antibodies) are considered as defence mechanisms of the body and when the body detects a foreign substance, it tries to build an immunity using antibodies.
The Gynemed range of anti-sperm antibody detection products can be used to indicate presence of IgG and/or IgA-antibodies, (Immunoglobulin A (IgA) type antibodies and immunoglobulin G (IgG) type antibodies) on mobile sperm.
This ready to use solution should be used to indicate presence of Immunoglobulin A (IgA) type antibodies on mobile sperm cells. Anti-IgA cells coated with red microspheres.
