Latest news from Planer 🌟DATAssure - Probe of the Month🌟 We offer a wide range of sensors to capture various parameters, including but not limited to temperature, humidity, gases, and liquid nitrogen monitoring. To ensure our trusted partners are updated on the latest sensors available for DATAssure we are continuing our Probe of the Month feature. The below Temperature Probe Kits offer alternative methods that enable users of benchtop incubators to monitor the temperature of all chambers via the Planer DATAssure system. GDDA-T-BT-BAS This kit comprises a wireless transmitter (868 MHz or 2.4 GHz) and an External PT100 3-core ribbon cable probe (-20°C to +90°C) sensor. The sensor provided is accurate to ± 0.5 °C. Installation is simple, each sensor is taped to the exterior of the incubator (using VOC-free heatproof tape – not supplied). A small weight is supplied to hold the sensor in place within the chamber. Sensors are then linked to the DATAssure base station in the usual fashion. GDDA-INCT-NOAP This kit comprises a wireless transmitter (868 MHz or 2.4 GHz) and an External PT100 flat ribbon cable probe (-200°C to +100°C) sensor. The sensor provided is accurate to ± 0.2 °C. Installation can be more complex; each sensor is taped to the interior and exterior of the incubator (using VOC-free heatproof tape – not supplied). Sensors are then linked to the DATAssure base station in the usual fashion. CryoChats™ Our Technical Director, James Lee recently took part in Evia Bio's CryoChats™. Last month's chat was on 'Cryopreservation Toolkit Essentials' and it was a great opportunity for James to talk all about what we do and our cryogenic freezer range. If you missed it you can listen to the recording in the video link above. The next CryoChats™ is on 17th April and will be on 'Cryopreservation Benefits & Costs of DMSO'. New Payment Details Effective from now, we have new payment details. You should receive a letter shortly with the updated details. They have also been updated on invoices. We recommend verifying this information by calling your sales representative or the main number found on our website. Please do update your records accordingly. UK Workshops As a reminder, this year we will be running vitrification workshops from our headquarters in Sunbury-on-Thames. We are also looking at running some workshops on the Hamilton Thorne Oosight Imaging System. Oosight provides high-contrast live images of the oocyte and spindle to determine which subpopulations are at high risk for producing chromosomally abnormal embryos and can prevent potentially damaging effects from injecting immature oocytes. |
